Blyth dance group wows audiences at Disneyland
Strut Dance were given the opportunity of a lifetime to perform in front of the crowds at Disneyland Paris.
The group, which launched in 2013, is preparing for its yearly show at the Phoenix Theatre in Blyth, but members are still reliving the amazing experience of showing off their talents at the home of Mickey Mouse.

Hide AdDeborah Rayne, who helped organise the performance, was delighted to see Strut Dance get the opportunity to show their skills to a big audience.
She said: “It was magical, chance of a lifetime, an opportunity to show a wider audience what they can do!”
The performance was part of Disney’s ‘Perform In The Magic’ programme, which helps amateur groups to showcase their talents on a bigger stage.
Performer Nikita Okoronkwo, who took part in the show, described it as an unforgettable day, saying: “It was such a phenomenal experience to be able to perform in the magical Disneyland Paris, and being able to experience it with all of our dance family, of all ages was just so special.”

Hide AdThe group, whose ages range from 3-18, also compete in various competitions and community shows such as Blyth Carnival and they will also be involved with this years Blyth Christmas light switch on.
Their annual show ‘Lights Camera, Strut’ takes place on November 9 at the Phoenix Theatre in Blyth and will feature fantastic routines and amazing costumes.
