Berwick lifeboat called to the rescue of two paddle-boarders who got into difficulty

Berwick lifeboat was called to the aid of two paddle-boarders who had got into difficulty.

The lifeboat crew were deployed this evening (July 31) after receiving a call at 7.15pm.

A statement from the Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard sent Berwick RNLI lifeboat and Berwick Coastguard Rescue Team after receiving a report that there were two paddle-boarders in difficulty off Berwick. The paddleboarders self recovered but were given safety advice by the coastguard rescue team.”
