Beacon lit in Berwick to mark Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Several hundred people attended Thursday night’s event at Windmill Bastion on the town’s ramparts.

Piper Andrew Smith played and ‘A life lived with Grace’ was sung by The Golden Square Singers.

Earlier, town crier Jolly Roger read a royal proclamation from the town hall steps to kickstart proceedings.
