Duke the Staffy.

Alexa's Animals Dog Charity receive and find new homes for dogs in Northumberland.

They work closely with local veterinary practices, council dog control units, social services, and also neighbouring dog-welfare organisations.

Duke the Staffy has been living at Alexa’s Animals for around 14 months.

Duke has been at the kennels since October last year, but he has recently found his forever home.

The Staffy dog has a bad back, hip dysplasia, cruciate problems, and can be a little mischievous.

However, Duke has now been officially adopted by Sophie, just in time for Christmas, and he adores her.

He gets lots of cuddles, his bed takes up half the floor, and as Duke’s mum bakes for a living, he gets to sit underneath and wait for bits to drop.
