Children at Swansfield Park Primary School were challenged to come up with a design in any medium of their choice.
The categories were: Over the rainbow; Say it with flowers; Paint a key worker; and create your own key worker ‘Banksy’.
Local artist, Katherine Renton, who is normally on the judging panel for Alnwick in Bloom, helped with the judging process.
She said: “I am very impressed with everyone who has gone to the effort of making a picture for this very special art competition, while you have all had to stay at home.
“I’ve had a lovely time looking through all the art work that has been made as a thankyou to all our key workers.
“Lots of different art materials have been used, and I love the fact that all the entries are very different from each other - there are some lovely ideas!”
