Active Northumberland team takes on Milan, Madrid, Paris, and London in virtual challenge

Active Northumberland staff have been setting themselves a series of charity challenges to keep themselves fit and united – and to link in with their campaign of staying active at home.

For the first challenge, staff had to collectively walk or run 1,067miles – the equivalent of travelling around the country, calling in to all the Nightingale Hospitals - by the end of May.

They smashed this challenge in just six days, raising £967 for NHS Charities Together in the process.They’ve now set themselves another challenge to collectively walk, run or cycle 3,685 miles, the equivalent of travelling from Northumberland to Milan - Madrid - Paris - London - and home.
