A parade led by Berwick Pipe Band made its way to the Castlegate war memorial where a service was held and a two minute silence was immaculately observed.
Wreaths were laid by numerous organisations before the parade headed off to Marygate with dignitaries watching from the town hall steps.
Here are 17 pictures from the event.
