The village’s festive lights committee works hard throughout the year to raise funds for the display along Main Street.
A new feature this year is an image of a giant snowflake projected on to the gable end of the Olde Ship Inn.
Santa was a special visitor to last Thursday’s event, popping into the Olde Ship to meet members of the team before stepping out into the cold to greet excited children.
Zoe Annison, with a little help from Santa, had the honour of switching on the lights this year.
Several local businesses have also made a special effort to ensure their shopfronts blend in with the festive feel.
