With online shopping, recessions and the uncertainty of Brexit all cited as reasons for longstanding stores closing their doors, as the UK high street crisis continues. We reflect on some of the much-loved shops and big businesses that have disappeared since 2010.
9. Mothercare

10. Poundworld
In 2018, the discount goods retailer announced the chain's collapse resulting in the closure of around 335 stores and the loss of 5,100 jobs. 11. JJB Sports

12. Blockbuster
The film and video game rental company had more than 500 stores in Britain. But up against tough competition from Netflix, LoveFilm and other streaming services, the company fell into administration in January 2013. The final store closed in December that year. Photo: JPI
