PATHS: Disgraceful standard

Replying to the person who wrote in about the state of the paths in Alnwick (Northumberland Gazette, February 18), I had a terrible fall in Amble and received head and facial injuries, chipped teeth, and a dislocated and fractured shoulder.

I have been on painkillers daily ever since the fall, also I will have to have a shoulder replacement.

So you see, it’s not only Alnwick, it is all over. Paths are in a disgraceful state, as are the roads.

Be very careful when you are out walking. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I am going through.
