PARKING: A solution to protect area

I was born in Bamburgh, lived there for 22 years and still visit regularly.

Why must a beautiful ancient village, which has always been protected, be ruined for the car?

I understand that a field in Radcliffe Road has previously been used for temporary car parking, why cannot this be a permanent feature?

Allow cars to park in front of the hotels and shops and remove them completely from around the Grove and both sides at the top of the Grove.

As well as solving the car parking problem, the buses could then resume their old route down the centre of the village, much to the delight of village shoppers.

Result – a beautiful, unspoilt village.
