Anyone interested in the co-opted vacancy is invited along to a public meeting on Monday, June 25, at 7pm in the Cheviot Centre, Wooler, to see how the parish council operates.

The council meets once a month. There are committees to deal with resources and play parks and some councillors may be required to attend other meetings, representing the council on outside bodies or helping develop a new community project.
