Opticians make donation
Specsavers Alnwick has donated more than 400 pairs of glasses to be recycled by international sight charity, Vision Aid Overseas.
The funds generated will be used to help build vision centres, train local eyecare workers and deliver eyecare services in Africa.
The glasses have been collected from customers since the branch opened last summer.
