​Rescue Dog of the Week: ​Gentle giant Jive

At Northumberland Dog Rescue, we must admit to being apprehensive about taking on an enormous caucasian shepherd x malinois but when we met him and he wet himself from fear our fears and heart melted.

We had to keep Jive on a long line for a little while so he could get used to us without feeling worried by our closeness and after some time passed he was doing zoomies around our paddock and having full lean-ins.

Next was taking him out into the super-scary big world. This is a slow but successful journey and we feel we are about ready to hand the reins over to new owners at Jive’s forever home. If you think you could offer Jive another chance in life, email us at [email protected]
