To celebrate the visit of the Tour of Britain to Alnwick on Wednesday, the town council is holding a photography competition.
The theme for the contest is Capturing the Moment and the group is looking for pictures that show the excitement and spirit of the day.
The winner will be chosen by Mayor of Alnwick Bill Grisdale and will receive £50.
Each person can enter up to two photos and the closing date for entries is noon on Monday, September 21.
The winning images will be added to the town council’s home page on its website.
All shortlisted images will be displayed at a photographic exhibition at Alnwick Playhouse.
Entries should be sent/delivered to Alnwick Town Council, Room 5, 27 Fenkle Street, Alnwick, Northumberland, NE66 1HW.

The town council, in partnership with Alnwick Chamber of Trade, is running a shop-window competition for retailers. The competition is to dress your shop window in an appropriate way to reflect the Tour of Britain cycle race.
Windows are being judged on Monday and there are a number of prizes up for grabs.
Alnwick Lions Club member Andrew Stevens is behind an initiative to create a map of the town centre to help visitors who come to the area for the Tour of Britain.
The map, located in the window of the Post Office in the centre of town, will feature businesses who have given money to local good causes through the Lions. A painted bike has also been placed near to the town’s Harry Hotspur statue.
