Despite an early start and rain, residents and visitors in Warkworth lined the streets this morning for the arrival of the Olympic Torch.
In contrast to the weather yesterday as the Torch entered north Northumberland, there was plenty of rain today meaning spectators wrapped up in coats and gloves under a sea of umbrellas.
But the mood was still one of excitement, and determination to be out for the Relay in the face of typical British weather.
The Torch came into Warkworth from the north, having left Hipsburn, before making its way up Castle Street with the castle looming above.
It then left, moving on to Amble and further south in the county.
