NORTHUMBERLAND CAMERA CLUB: Getting the colour saturation right is a skill worth learning

I usually try to find a connecting theme for the images that I include on this page.

It really helps me to whittle down the choice from the club’s busy Facebook group.

And as I have said before, it is so hard to decide which I should pick.

With our numbers rapidly approaching 1,000, with more and more photographers contributing to the group, it makes it even harder to decide.

I usually end up drawing names from my hat.

But, as I scrolled through, is was bold colours in a lot of the pictures that really jumped out and hit me, and so I continued with that as a theme.

Getting the colour saturation in an image just right is a skill which is very much worth learning.

Continuing the monthly theme of colours, this week’s challenge words are “Gigantic” and “Event”.
