Nominate your Tree of the Year in contest

The competition, supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, is open to any living tree in the UK that has a story behind it – from long-standing legends through to memorials or personal connections.

Following nominations, a panel of experts will draw up a shortlist of trees to go to a public vote. Trees of the Year will be named in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The winning trees and any that receive more than 1,000 votes will receive a bespoke Tree LC pamper package to improve their lives.

Each country’s individual Tree of the Year will go on to represent that nation in the European Tree of the Year competition.
