It is the sixth edition of this popular publication and this year features a stunning image of a puffin on its front cover, taken by competition winner Chris Orange.

The guide is designed to be used once visitors are here in the county. It is full of information, photos and aims to help visitors make the most of their stay while encouraging them to help conserve this unique landscape.

The Northumberland Coast AONB Partnership strongly encourages small business and attractions to head to the tourism fair, on Tuesday at Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre, to pick up copies of the Guide.

The AONB partnership has printed 50,000 copies to meet demand this year.

Catherine Gray, from the partnership, said: “This well-received guide continues to be very popular. We listened to what last year’s visitors wanted in the Guide and have included new pages on seafood, top tips and accessibility. It’s a must-have for visitors to the AONB.”

Jeff Sutheran, chairman of the North Northumberland Tourism Association and owner of St Cuthbert’s House B&B in Seahouses, said: “The Visitor Guide is always very popular with our guests who use it to plan their time here, it’s a fantastic asset for the area.”
