New U18 club night to start in Alnwick

Club Teen will be held at Mailhouse, formerly Penny Black, with the first event on Friday, April 1. It is aimed at teenagers in school years 9, 10 and 11 and will be held from 7pm to 10pm.An event spokesman said: “For a long time now, young people in the area have had a tough time finding a place to party, until now. Club Teen brings you the best and coolest place to party in Northumberland for people in year 9,10 and 11. Once a month, Club Teen will take over Mailhouse."There will be DJs dropping all the big tunes, a cool nightclub lighting system, smoke machines and lasers, themed nights and nightclub decor and a safe party environment with friendly staff and trained door supervisors."No alcohol will be sold, supplied or permitted at the event and Club Teen will be operating a ‘teen watch’ behaviour scheme to prevent anti-social behaviour.For more information, visit the Club Teen at Mailhouse Facebook page.
