A second round of consultation events for proposals for a nine-turbine windfarm next to an existing 28 turbines is set to take place at the start of next month.

PNE Wind UK, which is behind the plans for the windfarm near Eglingham and North Charlton, first held public exhibitions in the two villages last September.

Maps showed that the proposed turbines would be located behind the existing Middlemoor and Wandylaw sites when looking from the coast or the north east.

A second round of public exhibitions will present the latest site proposals and take place over three days in June.

They are: Monday, June 1, 4pm to 7.30pm, Eglingham Village Hall; Tuesday, June 2, 2pm to 7.30pm, South Charlton Village Hall; Wednesday, June 3, 4pm to 7.30pm, Rennington Village Hall.
