New political group builds momentum

The Berwick constituency branch of the Momentum movement was inaugurated at its first meeting last month.

Momentum was launched to sustain the enthusiasm of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s followers and to inspire others to join.

You don’t have to be a Labour member to join, but you do need to support Corbyn and his ideas.

A group of six founder members was chosen at the inaugural meeting in Alnwick and future meetings will be arranged with the aim of covering the whole of the constituency.
