The refreshed pitches at West Hill, home to a scheduled monument thought to be a Bronze Age hill fort, offer a new holiday home ownership opportunity.

The opening of West Hill coincided with A Meadowhead Park board meeting where directors conducted a tour of the park’s facilities and with the Berwick MP.

The five-star park offers a range of privately owned holiday homes as well as caravan holiday homes and wigwams to hire and facilities for touring caravans, motor homes and tents with views over Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the Cheviot Hills.

Its facilities include the Witch & Worm Family Pub & Restaurant, a games room, splash pool, extensive play areas, BBQ hut and nature trail.

Waren Caravan Park has been part of Meadowhead Parks portfolio for 43 years.

It has a number of Sites of Special Scientific Interest within the grounds and the park is actively engaged with Natural England in preserving these areas through a Higher-Level Stewardship Agreement as well as holding the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award for more than a decade.

Alex Benson, regional operations manager for Meadowhead Parks, said: Our true measure of success is delivering the best possible standards to all our holiday guests and holiday home owners, while the personal growth of our team is equally paramount as we strive for environmental and economic sustainability across the business.”

Henry Trotter, managing director, added: “Our success is based upon the knowledge, skills and attitude of our employees, and our ability to learn from the things we do well, or indeed from our mistakes. The good management of our people and the competence and motivation of all our team members is therefore paramount to our success.”
