New laundry opens

A laundry service by Northumbria Coast and Country Cottages (NCCC) has launched in Seahouses.

The Washing Line, at The Courtyard, Main Street, opened for business on Monday.

It offers a professional laundry service for housekeepers of B&Bs, holiday-cottage lets and small hotels. Staff will operate two industrial washing machines and dryers, as well as a 2.1 metre dryer iron.

Nikki Hough-Johnson, MD of NCCC, said: “We identified a need for a professional laundry service within Seahouses and the surrounding area. Customers can be assured of a friendly, efficient and professional service and first-class customer care.”
