Time is running out for qualified nurses to apply for new roles at a Northumberland mental health and disability care provider.
Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (NTW) is looking for qualified registered mental health nurses, allied health professionals and those with experience in mental health practice, working across a 24-hour shift system, to join its community services team.
Candidates can apply for the roles in acute services, working alongside colleagues in accident and emergency departments at hospitals including the recently-opened Northumbria Hospital in Cramlington, the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, and Sunderland Royal Hospital.
Anne Moore, NTW’s group nurse director, said: "We are delighted to offer these exciting roles and are looking forward to talking to talented and dedicated people who are keen to work in the North East, and provide first class care to our service users in acute teams across the region.
“These opportunities are open to qualified people who are hoping to make a fresh start in the New Year in a stimulating environment where they will be given the chance to cultivate their skills and build on their experiences within our community service teams.”
Nurses have until Sunday to apply. Interviews will take place on Thursday, December 17, and Friday, December 18. Details are available on the NHS Jobs website.
