New home for town’s advice bureau

The Alnwick branch of the Citizens Advice Bureau is on the move.

The Alnwick office of the Northumbrian Citizens Advice Bureau is moving from its current premises off Wagonway Road to the first floor of Lloyds Bank at 24 Bondgate Within.

The current premises is now closed and the new office will open to the public on Monday, January 5,

CEO Moira Macfarlane said: “We are looking forward to the new year and our new home, particularly as we will be more centrally located in the town and more accessible to the public.

“We will be open Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for drop-in services 9am to 1pm and for appointments Monday to Fridays.”

The Amble office at the Fourways building on Bridge Street will be opening extra hours, from the coming Monday until Tuesday, December 23, 9am to noon for a drop-in service and appointments.
