A new design shop has been launched in Wooler, selling the owner’s own creations as well as other homeware and furniture.
Stephanie Tait marked the opening of her shop, Stephanie Louise Design, with a special opening evening.
Showcasing the very best of Steph’s own designs along with rustic, traditional and vintage homeware and furniture, she says there is something for everyone and every pocket.
“This summer, I completed my BA Hons in creative enterprise and textile design and was determined to start my own business in my hometown of Wooler,” said Steph.
“I was born and bred here in Northumberland and there are so many colours and textures to take inspiration from.”
Along with her own designs, Steph is also undertaking commissions, and designs can be printed onto a variety of items, including cushions, lampshades, stationery and even wallpaper.
“I love the style of country-home living which fits so well with the beautiful Northumbrian countryside.
“It creates an elegance which I feel is timeless. The products that I sell have a real sense of being, and are made to be, classically timeless.”
Stephanie Louise Design is on Wooler High Street and is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
