New Civic Head '˜honoured' to be elected
Coun Jeff Watson has spoken of his honour after being elected to become Northumberland County Council's Civic Head.
He said: “I will try my best to portray and represent Northumberland in a positive and professional manner for the coming year.
“I am pleased to be the first county councillor serving the Warkworth, Amble and Acklington area to be elected to the role.”
His chosen charity is the Royal British Legion, Northumbria branch.
