The new locomotive.

Since then, it has been in the ownership of Stephen Wood and he kept it at the Strathspey Railway at Aviemore, Scotland.

It is a sister locomotive to number 60, which recently arrived at the AVR.

Unlike number 60, though, it is not currently in working order, but will be restored by the AVR team.

It brings the number of steam locomotives at the AVR to four, of which two are in full working order.

The AVR is an ongoing heritage project to reopen the branchline between Alnwick and Alnmouth. As part of this, Lionheart platform has been built in Alnwick.
