The MP for Berwick has lent her support to the national Talk About Abuse campaign to help family and friends know how they can best support victims of all forms of domestic abuse.
Anne-Marie Trevelyan attended the launch of the new campaign at an event held in the Houses of Parliament last Wednesday.
The campaign encourages people to be aware of what constitutes domestic abuse, to start a supportive conversation if they have concerns and to suggest further help.
Mrs Trevelyan said: “I am a huge supporter of Citizens Advice and the support and guidance they provide to those in need. This is a fantastic campaign - we must aim to end domestic abuse in all its forms.
“People need to know what steps they can take if they suspect someone is suffering from any form of domestic abuse.”
