Money raised to help school

A cheque for Â£672 has been presented to Alnwick's Barndale House School after a 12-month fund-raising drive by staff at the town's Newcastle Building Society branch.

The team raised the money through various means during 2015, including two sponsored cycling events.

Customers had voted for Barndale to become the branch’s dedicated charity for this period.
