A political movement aimed at building on the wave of support for Jeremy Corbyn is to hold its second meeting at the weekend.
The Berwick constituency branch of the Momentum movement was inaugurated at its first meeting in Alnwick last month where a group of six founder members was chosen.
The group’s second meeting will be held in Berwick on Sunday, March 6, at the Granary Youth Hostel at 11am.
Janet Fenton, the secretary of the Scottish CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament), has been invited as the guest speaker.
After a brief introduction and speech, there will be an open debate regarding the renewal of Trident.
You do not need to be a member of the Labour Party to attend, all supporters of Corbyn are welcome.
