Models are wanted for launch night
Models are wanted to help an Alnwick boutique launch its new range of designer fashion.
Lisa Aynsley, of Hotspur 1364, on Narrowgate, is holding the party to celebrate the addition of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger to her autumn/winter collection.
The event will also be showcasing sports and leisurewear brand, AIM athleisure, which is the brainchild of Alnwick’s Amy Fettis.
As part of the event, which is taking place at Mailhouse, in Fenkle Street, on Friday, November 4, from 7pm, men and women are wanted to model the items.
The launch party will be raising money for charity, the cause of which is yet to be confirmed.
Lisa said: “It’s great that the area is producing fab design talent and attracting global brands to Narrowgate.
“But we need help. We’re looking for guys and girls who are keen to strut their stuff and model for us.”
Lisa has made a name for herself since launching the premium-brand menswear store in 2014.
In her first year, she fought off a challenge from football Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, which demanded she change the shop’s name. But when Spurs found out the name had nothing to do with football – rather Alnwick’s legendary knight Harry Hotspur – the North London club backed down. AIM athleisure describes itself as a disruptive lifestyle fashion brand, driven by the contemporary Athleisure trend – which is when clothing designed for workouts and other athletic activities is worn in other settings, such as during work or social activities. All of the pieces are designed in-house by the AIM athleisure team.
