Missing Morpeth man Simon Purvis has been found, police confirm

Officers released an appeal for help to find Simon Purvis, 36.

He was last seen in the Morpeth area on the morning of Thursday, December 12.

At around 5.30pm, they confirmed that he has now been found safe and have thanked those who shared their message.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: “Missing Morpeth man Simon Purvis has been found safe and well. Thank you for sharing our appeal.”
