Missing man found after search on Holy Island
A search for a missing man was carried out on Holy Island yesterday.
Holy Island Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked on Saturday afternoon by Coastguard Operations Centre Humber to work with Northumbria Police to search for the missing male.
Humber Coastguard then dispatched Berwick RNLI all-weather Lifeboat with Coastguard officers from Berwick and police officers on-board to proceed to Holy Island to assist with the search.
A Coastguard helicopter was also tasked and searched the whole of Holy Island.
After a period of time the casualty was located safe and well.
