Mighty oaks from little Acorns grow at pre-school

A north Northumberland pre-school has recently extended its provision for youngsters.

Acorns, at Warkworth CofE (Aided) First School, offers care and education for children aged two to four.

Formerly Warkworth & Acklington Pre-School, the aim is to ‘provide a friendly, comfortable and safe environment which children will find stimulating and challenging, and where enjoyment and fun are linked with discovery and learning’.

During term time, three and four-year-olds can now stay all day (9am to 3pm) and all children can stay in school for a healthy lunch.

Alternatively, three and four-year-olds can do mornings from 9am to noon or afternoons between noon and 3pm.

Sessions for two-year-olds run from 12.30pm to 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays or from noon if they are having lunch.
