I'd like to thank the many runners who took on the Great North Run for Meningitis Now to raise awareness of and funds to tackle meningitis '“ your energy and enthusiasm make a huge difference.
If any readers have been inspired to take on the challenge in September next year, then Meningitis Now would love to hear from you. Anyone who registers their interest will have priority for our places when the event organiser confirms these in November.
You’ll be helping to fight meningitis with every stride and move us one step closer to our vision of a future where no one in the UK dies from meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need.
