Memories of school headship

The former headteacher of Glendale Middle School contacted us after seeing the top picture in last week's Gazette. He can name all but one of those shown. Back, l-r, (unknown), Naomi Nolan, Geraldine Parkin, Micahel Sinclair. Front, Hazel Aylett from Save the Children, Mark Scott, David Nelson, deputy head Gillean Ford and head Noel Spowart. Mr Spowart was at the school for 21 years and retired in 2004. The school was presenting a cheque to Save the Children.
