Memories of Christmas parties
Lynn Lyle (nee Chisholm) has shed light on the top photo of a Christmas party at Embleton in December 1967. She named the three Rochester sisters at the front, Lynn is behind and next to her is Yvonne Steward, nee Scott, her best friend. On the far right behind is Linda Turnbull. On the left she thinks are Carol, Elizabeth and Pauline Johnson, Julia Laidler and Pauline Clark.
Lynn said the picture brought back memories and added: “We always looked forward to the Creighton Hall party.”
