A rugby match and charity auction is to be held in memory of an Alnwick teenager who lost his fight with cancer in 2013.
Friends of Nathan Moore, who died aged 18 after being diagnosed with a form of bone cancer, have organised the game for tomorrow evening. He was known as Natmo – his Twitter address was @N_atmo.
The match will be followed by a raffle and auction to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Lots up for auction already include a number of signed sporting memorabilia including an item signed by Alnwick’s Lucy Bronze, but organiser David Troy has asked if anyone has a prize to donate to contact him on 07837483466.
The event takes place at Alnwick Rugby Club from 5pm. Entry on the door is £5 and a live band will be playing after the auction.
