Match of the day for Cancer Research UK

Staff from two Alnwick-based car dealerships will go head-to-head in a charity football match later this month.

Tustain Motors and Blackshaws will contest the game to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The game will take place on Sunday, July 24, at Alnmouth FC, with kick-off at 2pm.

It is the second year that the match has been played, with Blackshaws taking the honours in 2015 with a 4-1 victory.

Gates open at 1pm and suggested entry is a donation of £1 per spectator. Money can also be donated via www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Gordon-Saunders
