Man killed by train in Northumberland
The incident happened in the Widdrington area.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "British Transport Police officers attended the line close to Felton Lane crossing, Widdrington on Sunday after a report of a person being struck by a train.

Hide Ad"Officers from the British Transport Police and Northumbria Police attended the incident which was reported to police at 11.16am and is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
"Paramedics from North East Ambulance Service also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Rail journeys on the East Coast Main Line between Newcastle and Edinburgh were disrupted until 4pm.
