Man in his 40s exposes himself to group of 12-year-old girls on football field

The incident happened between 6.20pm and 7pm yesterday in Newbiggin. The man indecently exposed himself to the three girls on the football field to the rear of Newbiggin Sports and Community Centre, before making off.

The offender is described as being in his 40s, with short hair and was wearing jeans and a jumper.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and police are asking for anyone with information to contact them. Extra officers are in the area speaking with people and offering reassurance.
