Man found dead outside Amble pub
A man has been found dead outside a pub in Amble.
At around 8.10am today, police received a report of concern for a man on land adjacent to the Schooner Pub, on Lime Street. Officers attended and found an unconscious man outside the rear entrance to the premises. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inquiries to establish the circumstances around the man’s death are ongoing, but at this stage it is not believed to be suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
