Numerous classes are on offer for floral art, daffodils and other plants as well as a championship tulip competition sponsored by show patron the Duchess of Northumberland, who will be present during the afternoon to present the prizes.

It’s not just the green fingered who get the chance to scoop a prize. There is a cookery section for sweet and savouries as well as a sugarcraft competition.

Youngsters also have a chance to show off their talents with sections for them in the horticultural and cookery classes.

The organisers want to encourage anyone to ‘have a go - enter the show’ to make this an extra special event for the anniversary year.
