At Easter, he will be heading north to play the other historic counties, including Northumberland, and is looking for an opponent, ideally with a story to tell about themselves, the board or the location. Contact [email protected] or 01665 602234.

This project is part of an overall mission with the aim of promoting the game of cribbage in the UK and investigating and recording the state of the game in the nation at this time, through the writing of a book.

Siv added: “This year-long journey aspect is also helping me to reconnect with my homeland after years abroad and allow my girlfriend, as a recent arrival here, the chance to see snapshots of the whole country.”
