LOAN: Does council offer apply?
Here's a conundrum. I want to build a small paddling pool and play area for my grandchildren in my back garden. The materials and labour would be locally sourced.
Although I easily have enough money to do this work, I was thinking of asking the council for a loan. I would, of course, pay it back in full.
My only concern is that my loan might be refused on the grounds that I am not a multi-millionaire and I don’t have charitable status.
