Bedlington-based charity Leading Link has partnered up with Northumberland County Council’s adolescent team to give support as a preventative measure.

It aims to capture and engage with the young people in an attempt to prevent their issues from escalating into more serious problems.

To help Leading Link manage the project, adult volunteer mentors from all over the county are being recruited.

Leading Link is also keen to get local businesses involved too. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well as staff-development sessions where firms donate staff members for a few hours a month to help the youngsters.
