A dog expert is offering humans the opportunity to learn their canine friend’s language in an evening course, the first of its kind to be held locally.
Jacquie Hall, from the Northumberland Canine Centre, has set up a 10-week theory course to help anyone who wants to learn more about how dogs think and behave,
The course is designed not only for dog owners but specifically for anyone who works with dogs on a regular basis, such as vet nurses, dog walkers, dog sitters and rescue centre staff, to help them recognise problems which may arise between dogs or between dogs and humans and also how to prevent, manage or cure them.
Jacquie said: “Dog behaviour can be predictable, but only if you know what you are looking at. This course will look closely at dog behaviour, how it develops, even before a dog is born and how to support it or change it, if necessary.”
The course costs £60. Contact Jacquie on 01665 589559 for further information.
