Northumberland Tourism is launching its next seasonal campaign, and it is looking for interested partners.

The marketing & PR campaign, It’s In Our Nature, will run from April to August this year.

The promotion is all about celebrating the character of the county, from the remote hills and vast skies to the tranquil lakes and the rugged beauty of the coastline.

Northumberland Tourism says it is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the marketing on a national level and is looking for campaign partners.

A number of different packages are available, at a range of prizes, from bronze to platinum, all with different and an increasing range of benefits.

The campaign will run on a microsite located on the website visitnorthumberland.com and will feature the campaign partners.

There will be a number of other perks, including featuring in adverts and social-media promotion.

Following research, the 2016 spring/summer It’s In Our Nature marketing campaign influenced at least 620 visits, with more planned to take place.

This meant a return on investment of £35.83 for every £1 spent.

The average length of stay was 4.81 nights, while 45 per cent of those who visited said that seeing the campaign probably or definitely turned a possible visit into a certainty.
